What to Expect - Winter Garden's First Baptist Church

What to Expect

When you worship with us on a Sunday morning, you’ll always get an inspiring and engaging message from Pastor Tim, straight from God’s Word. You’ll also experience passionate music and fun activities and teaching for your children.

Here are some nuts and bolts of Sunday mornings:

MUSIC AND WORSHIP STYLE

Whether you prefer the sound hymns accompanied by a piano and pipe organ or contemporary music with a top-notch band, we’ve got you covered. At 8:30, you’ll have the opportunity to worship with hymns lead by singers, a piano, and often the pipe organ. At 11:00, you’ll be lead into worship with a more modern feel by a full band and a praise team. The message is the same for each service, so feel free to come and worship however you prefer.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR

You are welcome to wear whatever makes you most comfortable, regardless of which service you come to. In the 8:30 service, you will find most dressing anywhere from business casual to suit and tie. In our 11:00 service, most are dressed anywhere from shorts and a polo to business casual, although some come dressed in their Sunday best. If you are comfortable in it, so are we.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN

We have incredible programs for children ages 3 months to 5th grade. For more info on our preschool program, click here. If you are looking to learn about Kids Worship for children Kindergarten to 5th grade, check it out here.

HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE

Our 8:30 service usually concludes around 9:30, in time for our 9:45 small groups. Our 11:00 service typically ends between 12:00 and 12:15 .
