Kid’s Stuff
Sunday Mornings
Small Groups meet at 9:45a.m every Sunday morning. There are age-divided groups from newborn through 5th grade with September 1 as the deciding date.
Kids Worship 11:00 a.m. meets in the fellowship hall. The worship is lead by Will Blaine, Pastor to Children. There is snack, worship time, Bible study, and activities.
Following the Bible study the kids and leaders move to the gym for some play and activities.
Topics for Kids Worship follow the theme in the Small Group time so one builds on the other with the goal that the children learn more about God and His Word each week.
Wednesday Evening Activities
Mission Friends meet at 6:45 p.m., a time to learn about missionaries throughout the world, activities, games, and of course a taste of food from the country studied.
Royal Ambassadors ( boys, grade 1st – 5th grades) meet at 6:45 p.m., in the gym where they divide into small groups then learn about missionaries through activities, stories, and games. They will earn buttons through events throughout the year and participate in mission projects
Girls in Action (girls 1st – 5th) meet at 6:45 p.m., in the MPR where they learn about missionaries and their work throughout the world. They will participate in mission projects, sometimes raising money to send to missions, or visiting the local nursing homes.
Following the missions activities we have open gym at 8:00 p,m.. There will be an organized game or skating supervised by our children’s pastor and parents. Sometimes parents even like to join in the game.
