So glad you took a moment to come to our GetREAL Student Ministry site. We see the teen years as a time to “GetREAL” about life and what is eternally significant, not as a time to “get through”, as so often we have heard said.

God says in 1 John 5:20, “And we know that the Son of God came so we could recognize and understand the truth of God—what a gift!—and we are living in the Truth itself, in God’s Son, Jesus Christ. This Jesus is both True God and Real Life.” (msg)

Wow, what an incredible place to be as a teen. To know what is true about God, and themselves, and to have a confidence in what REALlife is. That is huge as they make life decisions.

We are convinced that those teens who have REALlife are the best at helping other teens come to know the truth. So, we look for ways to guide teens in expressing their REALlife through the normal, simple opportunities they have every day. We also provide extraordinary expressions of their gifts and abilities through major leadership roles. That, my friends, makes for a wonderfully, exciting adventure that has eternal significance.

Oh, and if you are wondering about where this is done….let’s say….it’s across the street and around the world literally. Maybe one day we’ll be headed off the planet.

One of my favorite scriptures, which communicates the catalyst for REALlife, is Job 42:5, “My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you.”

I invite you to come and see what Jesus is doing in the lives of the teens of The GetREAL Student Ministry. I think you’ll want to join them.

Sunday 9:45-10:50

Middle School students meet on the 3^rd floor for RealTime for small group Bible study with adults who love them so very well.  Girls and boys are divided into small same gender groups. The curriculum used by these teachers is Student Life’s “Prime” study.

High School students gather in room 201 in the C-building for REALITY-U for instruction and encouragement in a large group, mixed gender setting led by Eric Faulkner. Students will be meeting the challenges of living life head on.
