At First Baptist Horizon West, we know that a child learns more and grows more in the first six years of life than at any other time. Our Kid’s Ministry exists to provide a fun, inviting, clean, and safe environment for children, where they can learn foundational truths about God. Your children will learn to love God, that Jesus loves them, and that Jesus wants to be their friend! We do this through play, stories, crafts, games, worship, and more. We provide screening, security badges, and a secure building to help make this environment safe.

Our safety focus in Children’s Ministry is the ABCs —
AWANA is a Bible-based program for Kindergarten – 5th Grade . The AWANA program features Scripture memorization and basic Bible truths through games and learning fit for their level. The program’s materials help parents actively participate in their child’s spiritual development.
