January Church News

MESSAGE FROM PASTOR TIM:

Welcome to 2021! The new year always has a hope for the better and anticipation of good things to come. On January 3rd I will be bringing a message on the State of the Church. I will offer an update on the past year and look forward to a new year of serving the Lord together as a church family.

Alan Strong has officially accepted the position as our Student Pastor after receiving unanimous support and encouragement from the church last Sunday.  Alan, Cheryl and their children are looking forward to joining us in late January. Please pray for a smooth transition and a new beginning for the Strong family. We anticipate great days ahead for our student ministry.

It is our hope that Breakthrough Prayer ’21 will be a major part of 2021. Along those lines, we are excited to start the year with a special time of praise and prayer: An Evening of Music, Prayer and Praise, 6:30-8pm, Wednesday, January 13 in the Downtown Worship Center. Jarian will lead a time of worship in song, and we will experience testimonies and special times of prayer. I hope you will be a part.

For those who have been considering church membership, our Membership Matters class is the first Wednesday of each month at 6pm in the Downtown Basement Conference Room. I would love to answer questions and share our vision with all who are considering joining the church.  Wednesday, January 6th will be our first membership opportunity of the year.

Together hand in hand,

Pastor Tim
